A punchy mass cover up of digital ad screens in Reading with blackout fabric has effectively put the screens out of action for a day. The crew covered the standalone screens with fabric showing alternative messages, some which encouraged passers by to write and draw, in place of multiple ads per minute.

“What would you rather have in our public spaces? These digital advertising machines are working 24 hours a day to sell us dissatisfaction and poor health. And using three households worth of energy to boot. What’s not to protest about?”
