Commercial advertising plays a key role in shaping public perceptions of the world’s most destructive companies. Fossil fuel giants, airlines, fast fashion, junk food and Big Tech use marketing and PR strategies to normalise their harmful business models, greenwash their responsibility and flood public media spaces with half-truths, distractions and silence on key issues – as global inequality and climate breakdown accelerate.
This conference brings together people who refuse that silence. Join campaigners, residents and activists who are working to reduce the impacts of corpate advertising on our wellbeing, our mental health and our environment for 3 days of workshops, talks, strategising and information sharing.
