In Liege, during #SubvertTheCity 2019, an activist collective known as Liège sans pub covered the newly installed giant video advertising screens with cardboard cutout images of Bla-Bla, a popular children’s marionnette who used to end every show with a warning against the dangers of TV advertising.
Some of the screens are installed over 2 meter high masts, and reaching these necessitated the use of an ingenious contraption.
