The action took place around the Westfield Glories shopping mall in Barcelona, Spain, an area that gets full of people during consumerism dates (Xmas, black Friday, sales etc). Our goal was to condemn how advertising reinforces the idea of empty consumerism while hiding the precariousness in which most people live. Our action consisted in replacing the advertising displays with others we had previously hacked using our own designs and ideas. All the interventions on the billboards are wordplay, designs, and meanings related to the contradictions of capitalist life.
