In Amsterdam in the Netherlands Matt Firth has created and installed a series of ‘Ad-adaptors.’
“Ad-Apter turns digital outdoor ads into colourful abstract artworks with a simple lightbox grid that fits onto the front of an ad screen. Messages can easily be added and updated with transparent overlays and the modular construction means it’s easy to adapt for different ad formats. The plan is to release instructions online so anyone can build one and make their town a little brighter.”
