The local group RAP Antibes took action in their coastal town on the Mediterranean – near Cannes.
Four members of the group protested against the advertising that is invading our public spaces.
In the city center, a poster for a boy’s band was altered, and some posters were covered with the message “No Advertising Zone / Zone Anti Pub”.
On the outskirts, where there are more illuminated billboards, posters were decorated with butterflies to denounce the effect of the light from these advertising sites on nocturnal wildlife. The coastal strip of the Alpes-Maritimes is a beautiful region that deserves better than the defacement and trivialization of omnipresent advertising.
