With chants of “Too many billboards, not enough trees!” and “Stop the screens!”, Adblock Bristol and friends gathered outside Bristol City Council to protest a giant new digital ad screen proposed for the south of the city.

The group showed up on a freezing November day to urge councillors to block the screen in a meeting of their ‘Development Control Committee”, a group that decides whether to approve permission for new planning applications, later that day.
