Villeneuve Loubet, near Nice in Southern France, is famous for the idyllic Baie Des Anges Marina. But it also has a large shopping centre and the area is covered in advertisements. There are ads at bus stops and on road signs; large ad screens loom overhead and smaller ones blare out at street level throughout the night.

The anti-advertising group in Alpes Maritimes Ouest wanted to be creative and test several styles and ideas. One artistic board was enhanced with a decoration made from autumn leaves. One featured a stencil to light a message. One suggested plants growing towards the light. One customised for teenagers featured pyjamas and pillows. One used a shopping bag to cover the light.

One overhead screen was trashed by a projectile.
